Increasingly, you can see that instead of bulky and boring curtains, blinds are installed on the windows – a universal device that not only protects from light, but is also an interesting element of the interior.
A huge variety of types of these products, characterized by different external and functional features, allows you to choose the design that fits perfectly into a particular room.
The fabric for blinds is the most diverse. Often it is plastic, fabrics, aluminum, wood.
What are the advantages of each?
Plastic. Blinds made of plastic do not need special care, it is enough to wipe them from dust. In addition to being hygienic, plastic holds its shape very well.
Aluminum. If you want as little light as possible in the room, then this option is for you. Aluminum blinds are a reliable protector from sunlight and unwanted looks from the street.
Textile. Fabric blinds are often based on polyester. It is a misconception that fabric blinds collect a lot of dust. Since fabric lamellas are treated with a special agent, they will retain freshness and cleanliness for a long time.
Wood. This option probably looks the most luxurious and sophisticated. Significant advantages of such products include strength, versatility and durability. Wooden blinds will create a cozy atmosphere in the room, and in the summer they will become a real salvation, as they will reliably protect from the penetration of sunlight.
In addition to the basic materials, bamboo, linen and other natural materials can serve as the basis for blinds.
