A: No. Eco City Junk is an independently owned and operated small business located in Montgomery County, MD. Eco City Junk is not affiliated with any other haul away junk operation. We don’t have to pay franchise fees or commissions so we can pass those savings on to you.
Q: Will most of my stuff end up in the landfill?
A: We recycle as much as possible.

A: Many of the reusable items we remove are redistributed by our non-profit partner organizations, such as .
Q: Are there any types of items you don’t take?
A: Federal guidelines prohibit us from taking hazardous materials or liquids such as Gasoline, Oil, Paint, and other combustible liquids and substances. We also do not remove pianos or pool tables.
We can and do remove anything else, including appliances, furniture, exercise equipment, televisions, electronics, construction debris, metal, and more.
Q: Do you service any areas besides Montgomery County, MD?
A: We service all of Montgomery county as well as portions of Fairfax, Arlington, Alexandria and NW DC. Call us at 301-963-4326 if you’re located outside of these areas, and we’ll let you know if we can take of the removal for you.
Q; How quickly can I get service?
A: How quickly do you need it? Seriously, we will make every effort to accommodate your garbage trash removal needs, including providing same-day service when possible. Our goal is to schedule your service no more than 72 hours out.
Q: How much do you charge?
A: Pricing is based on the percentage of our truck that will be taken up by your load. You’ll find complete up front pricing on our pricing page. As noted, in some cases additional fees may apply.
Q: Do you give estimates over the phone?
A: We have found that such ballpark estimates are not of much help. Instead, with no cost and no obligation, we look at the job in person and give you a fixed price. As a locally owned and operated company, we typically charge less than others to haul away junk.
