Two Days – Two Ways to Clean the "Longest Street in the USA"

Keep Denver Beautiful is hosting two cleanups on Colfax Avenue this year! Join us for an Earth Day Cleanup on April 22 or a cleanup on May 13 before the Colfax Marathon, to clean it before they run it!

It's a great time to start an Adopt-A-School (AASc) program at your campus! Keep Denver Beautiful gives students the opportunity to learn how easy it is to keep litter and graffiti vandalism out of their schools and communities.

Important Safety Information

The safety of our volunteers is our number one priority, so please be aware of the potential for "bottle bombs" or "acid bombs" located in parks or other locations you might be cleaning up. Only a few of these devices are reportedly found each year, and it is unlikely that you will find one.

DO NOT TOUCH OR PICK UP suspicious looking containers, they can explode upon contact!

If you discover items meeting these or other suspicious criteria, or when in doubt, immediately call 311 (720-913-1311).
